Busy times at the Lounge with OSB and the Bee's Knees

First off, it's wonderful to be back at Tremolo Lounge after a brief stay at the legendary Longview Farms on the Jediah project. Longview was great to work at, but there's no place like "home".
OSB has blocked out most of my month with a new project of great pop-rock tunes. We've got the majority of five tracks done, including all guitars, piano, bass drums and vocals! It sounds HUGE!.
Pretty much when OSB isn't in, I'm working on a new CD for the roots-pop Americana band The Bee's Knees. They're hard to describe in that their influences all combine to make a pretty unique sound, though I can often draw parallels to linke-minded bands like the Byrds and Big Star. Both personal favorites.
In two and a half days, we got basics for 12 songs done, and we should be picking up again soon to get the overdubs underway. |
